THE BLUE MARLIN
This large pelagic is becoming a more common site in the waters of Palau. They are can sometimes be sighted in the fast, deep water off Ngedebus Wall, Blue Corner, and Big Dropoff. Blue Marlin feed on squid, tuna, and even dolphin. They are sometimes a little hard to spot against the blue of the water.

BEGINNER LEVEL  ::  DRIFT DIVE / WALL DIVE
CuttlefishThis dive is just south of Turtle Cove, off the island of Ngedebus just north of Peleliu.  The site is really two sites in one - Ngedebus Coral Garden and Ngedebus Wall.  At Ngedebus Wall, you will dive down a wall that goes to a corner, where you can take in the action with the gray reef sharks.  If you are really lucky, you may catch site of a Marlins - make sure you look up though, as they usually swim in the open water above the wall.  On the way to the corner you can see the rare blue girdled angel fish, square spot anthius, napoleon wrasse, pyramid butterfly fishand, the occassional turtle, and maybe even a leopard shark - the wall itself has many large soft corals and gigantic gorgonian sea fans.

Coral Garden follows a nice gentle and has the appearance of a garden - the coral here is particularly abundant and colorful.  It's a great place to find rays - both the Sting Ray and the Ornate Eagle Ray.  Cuttlefish come to lay eggs in the protected coral reef here.
